In 2014, the Meridian Cares Team exceeded its goal by more than $5,000 and was able to provide $8,300 to families in need. “Many households will be lacking this holiday season and having to make choices between food, utilities, rent or medication and this is one way in which the community can reach out to our neighbors to help them enjoy what the rest of us often take for granted,” said Suzanne Brouse, Chair of the Community Resources Commission.
